The Essence of Beauty Motorcycle & Social Club was established in Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama in January 2007 by four founding members: Ada“Morena” Watkins, Lee-Ray “Justice” Bennett, Sonia “Hunnee” Shakir and Terry “Isis” Turner. The Founders' overall vision is to create a motorcycle and social club that reflects unity, loyalty, strength, and determination for females interested in the sport, regardless of motorcycle ownership. The club officially arrived on the motorcycle and social scene in February of 2007. On May 22, 2010, Essence of Beauty Motorcycle & Social Club officially changed it's status from a Motorcycle & Social Club to a Motorcycle Club.
The ladies of Essence of Beauty Motorcycle & Social Club are on a mission. We are here to demonstrate TRUE examples of sisterhood and camaraderie throughout the motorcycle community, along with the communities in which we reside. We hope to reflect unity, loyalty, strength and determination. We are here to reconnect joy, respect, fun and excitement into the love of motorcycling. With the help of our peers and our community, we will set forth the effort to educate our youth about health, wellness, confidence and independence. We will also encourage new riders to learn their own pace, be humble enough to seek wisdom from seasoned riders and stress the importance of riding safe. In setting the foundation for our EOB family, we must always strive to live with, move with, grow with, and shine with our ESSENCE OF BEAUTY!
